Hello and thanks for looking in on us

Following a successful 2018, we are back for 2019 and what's more, it's our 10th Anniversary event this year too! So spread the word and come along with family/friends to celebrate this momentus occasion and in doing so, help raise money for local good causes. Thanks to your generosity, we've raised £17050 to date - An incredible amount I'm sure you'll agree. So thank you all for your tremendous support of PRAF and we look forward to seeing you for more of the same this year.

As things stand, we're shaping up to be better than ever, with our specially selected (some old, some new) variety of Ales, Ciders, Perry and Wines. And following the success of last year's experimental beer (one cask fined and one unfined) committee members have again been brewing ales for you, which are exclusive to this year's festival. But don't be alarmed, it's not 'home brew', as we're expertly supported by our great friends and regular sponsors at Ledbury Real Ales. So if you're keen to try these for yourselves, then be quick, because if last year was anything to go by, they will be the first to go! (PS Ledbury's regular ales ain't bad either, so look out for them at your local.)

  • Top Beers 2018:

1st - Ledbury Real Ales - Dr Rudi's Extra Pale Ale Visits Pauntley (unfined)

1st - Ledbury Real Ales - Dr Rudi's Extra Pale Ale Visits Pauntley (fined)

3rd - Penzance - Crows-An-Wra

  • Top Ciders 2018:

1st - Westons - Old Rosie

2nd - Westons - Rosie's Pig Flat Tyre with Rhubarb

3rd - Westons - Rosie's Pig Raspberry Roller w/Cucumber

And if our fine beverages leave you feeling a little peckish, then be assured that they'll be excellently supplemented, by a variety of foodstuffs that we have on offer for you this year. So thank you Andy Creese Catering for serving us so well these last few years and welcome: Made Without Gluten. Fish and Chips are their speciality, but they serve various other gluten free offerings, including both vegetarian and vegan options. Also Whip Up A Party will once again be serving us with their speciality ice creams, whilst soft drinks and snacks are also available, so see our Catering page for full details.

In between eating and drinking, be sure to check-out our entertainment, which has been a fundamental part of PRAF from day one. And this year will be no exception, with our eclectic line-up of local bands, musicians and dancers, who give most generously of their time to entertain us throughout the day. Our headliners are regular contributors: Smoke Room, who'll have you rocking the night away, whilst the Silurian Border Morrismen and Strawberry Hill Dancers will entertain you between our afternoon musicians. See our Entertainment page for the full day's line-up.

Having mentioned generosity, let's not forget this year's sponsors, who provide us with much needed funds to make PRAF so successful. Suffice to say that we're most grateful for their support and wish them every success in their line of business, with particular mention to our main sponsor for the second successive year: Completely Motoring. Please see our Sponsors page for details of all of our amazing sponsors.

Finally, a quick mention/thank you to our small (but perfectly formed) army of volunteers, who travel from near and far to set-up, run and take down PRAF. So big THANKS to you all for stepping-up to the plate again this year.
